Here on the forums we use an infraction point system to deal with any breaking of the rules.

Sometimes a warning may be issued without an infraction, if this is the case any further breaches of the rules will result in an infraction.

Infraction points are calculated as follows:

Signature Rule Violation
1 Infraction Point. Expires in 14 Day(s)
Flaming Other Member(s)
2 Infraction points. Expires in 30 Days
Hate Speech
4 Infraction points. Expires in 60 Days
Spamming / Flooding
4 Infraction points. Expires in 30 Days
Insulting / Attacking Staff
6 Infraction points. Expires in 3 Months
Commercial Spammer
20 Infraction points. Never Expires.

Bans:

If your actions are considered a serious breach of the rules you may be permanently banned without collecting points. Otherwise it will work as follows:

6 points = 7 day ban from the forums.
8 points = 14 day ban from the forums.
10 points = 3 month ban from the forums.
12 points = 6 month ban from the forums.
18 points = 12 month ban from the forums.
20 points = Permanent ban.

If you have a temporary ban are are found to be using an alternate account to circumvent the ban you risk being banned permanently from the entire site.
