Considering that the place here is still new, and that it's a spin off from Liveleak, I'm actually surprised at how few members Team Leakers has really.
Time will tell.

I'm not terribly suprised tbh. People go to LL to watch vids and comment e.t.c. for the most part. If anything a long slow grow would be the best thing for this place. If 4000 LiveLeakers had signed up and joined the leakers team it would kind of crush all.

Honestly though, it's nearly impossible to be sure who is a member of what online community though. Our team, I just noticed, has at least one member joined to it, that I am not sure is actually a member of our site.
I'm sure the same goes for the Leakers team, and eventually, other teams themed after the sites of origin of its members.
You're right though. If all the active community members were to have joined all at once, it would surely stifle the competitive spirit.
It is good to see that the accounts that showed registration way prior to the preregistration notification, are adjusted, or deleted.
Kinda looked a bit odd to see those accounts with those dates of registration.

We may eventually see multiple teams from each community. Perhaps even teams put together simply to do well in league challenges. Who knows? And that's half the fun.

I would think that the team with the most active participants in challenges would be the winning team in that. I'll tell you what though, there should be a tally list of the number of challenges each team has come in first in, not just the communities members are from. I don't know that any of the members of Team OMGaf have chosen to be identified as members of any other site.
As for a side bet, I'll put up the tootsie-rolls.
